Well, we threw in the towel to our DIY project on refinishing our hardwood floors. I met with a flooring rep [thanks to Thanny for the recommendation] to discuss options + have our floors measured. Hopefully they can provide us with what we need + ASAP. It's been a month after we've moved in + yet our living room is not yet livable.

*fingers crossed*

Next up on the home-cooking challenge: my ma's black bean pork adobo.

This is one of my fave dishes that she makes + it was pretty close to hers except more on the salty side. All in all, not bad for a first try. J loves it, so that's what counts. :)
