Project: • installed hardwood Venetian blinds in master bedroom • removed extra slats for a vertical custom fit
I had to manually tighten the screws for these blinds since it was too difficult for me to use the drill/driver at an upside-down angle. At first, this project went slowly. But after I got the first set of blinds up, I got more efficient at it once I memorized the step-by-step process. Our room looks so much better now that they're finally up. J said it's starting to look like a real room now. :)

My old workmate + good friend, Mike, had asked me to photograph his wedding + I was very honoured to do so. I invited my one + only brother along all the way from Miami to partner up with me + shoot the wedding. It always helps to have another perspective when shooting such an important event.
This is a collection of photos from my point of view. Just a small sneak peek for now. The couple still needs to see their proofs. :)
Tried out a new place to eat Mexican while my sis + bro were in town. They didn't like it so much, but I thought my quesadilla was good. Guess you can't go too wrong with a quesadilla... I take that back—I've actually had a really bad, soggy one at Qdoba once.
Don't know if they are normally on top of things, but our service that day was pretty awful. Once we sat down, it took forever for us to be waited on. We weren't even asked to order our drinks until it was time to order our food. On top of that, my brother didn't get his burrito until about 10 minutes after our meals were served because the server failed to write his order down. Poor server girl though. She was the only one running between the kitchen + the tables. You could tell she was stressed out of her mind + even dropped a tray of plates.
Regardless, don't know if we would come back for more.
J decided to take on finishing the exposed brick project in the foyer, so I sketched out some layout solutions based on what our general contractor originally came up with.

Before I knew it, all top windows were removed + the cool wind was blowing in. The 2 HD contractors were pretty efficient at what they do + only worked from 8am to 1pm. I was expecting them to be here the whole day. Now, I'm no expert at window installation, but I think that's a heck of a fast job.
Still, 2 windows remain to be replaced since one was mis-sized + the other's frame was broken.

Crazy what my little cell phone is capable of. It even has night-mode. ;)
I apologize, I've been dishing out cell phone shots left + right. With the recent never-ending move + current house renovations, it's all I've really had time for. Though, while my brother was in town he + I teamed up + shot a wedding last SAT. So, hopefully I will be able to upload some of those to showcase soon. :)
This is my journal. I am a full-time interactive designer + freelance photographer with immense love + respect for art, travel, food, technology, + music. Back in 2000, when I first began writing my musings online the content was solely based on my life experiences. Over the years I've meandered from writing on the introspective side + found myself expressing various thoughts, ideas, + interests through photography-inspired posts with little to no narrative. Though, when I tend to think aloud I share them on Twitter. The entry style may have changed, but this site still serves as my chronological journal of random occurrences, introspective or not.
