First day in Paradise [aka the beach condo]. We ate a homecooked Puerto Rican lunch compliments of Adaliz's mom again [she pretty much fed us the whole trip, save for a 2 times when we were out + about]. I don't mind one bit + I'm sure the other girls didn't either. Then, we headed out for a day at the beach + hanging out in the pool. Later that night, we shopped around for a bit + brought back some spirits... Spirits of the Riesling type, that is.

our mini palm

This poor fella hasn't really been 100% healthy/happy for awhile now. We got it from IKEA a few years back + it has always had all sorts of issues [brown tips on its leaves, never grew taller]. Some action needed to be taken. So, I brought it with me to my office to meet its fellow potted palm at work so that it hopefully will be able to see its full potential. Maybe it just didn't like the taste of DC water.

This is the "before" portrait of my mini palm. If he gets better + livens up, then a respective "after" portrait will be posted.
